This is my colored rendition of Famine lines by deviantAshtareth 
. This artwork is part of a series on the four horsemen (horsewomen?) of the Apocalypse. The other pieces in this series are Pestilence, War, and Death. The entire collection can be viewed as a single artwork, which I call The Four Ladies of the Apocalypse.
As with the rest of the horsemen of the Apocalypse, deviantAshtareth chose to depict Famine as a hot lady. Since he chose to draw Death as a Chinese woman, I wanted Famine to be someone other than a white person. Aside from wanting to provide some variation in ethnicity, I felt that famine isn't likely to occur in Europe or the U.S. Hence, I decided to make this lady a bleach blonde latina for no other reason than that I think latinas are muy caliente. I gave her blonde hair to contrast with the dark earth tones of the background and the dress, but one look at her eyebrows will tell you that her hair color comes from a bottle.
Over 99% of this painting was created in Clip Studio Paint, a.k.a. Manga Studio. I did less than a minute of pre-processing in Photoshop to prep the line art, then I did the actual painting in Clip Studio Paint.
